If I were given the chance to retake the pitch presentation, I got tons of wonderful ideas, very fun, very enjoyable. Heck if it exceeds one hour even so then. =x

anyway.. for those who havent seen, the comical pitch. Take a look, blogged it months back very relevant now still as its a pitch. Keep the slides that way, keep your cool, have the style and you are on your way to having a good grade.

Trust me you will get some pitching ideas from this. I got ALOT. Sooo regret now.

My Wish, in the Showers

Wow, how unbalanced. How I wish my english is as unbalanced as Ivan's or Sam's, but I'll never get to that level, since I'm always bullshitting and whatnot. My wish is to be a better speaker. Additional wishes include having wisdom (and not a history of bullshit stuck in my mind), having the right sense of mind, and trying to memorise the names of all 386 Pokemon.

PS. It's not comfortable to write wishes while sitting on the toilet now, is it?

Wisdom, as dated.

Wisdom. Something that many of us possess, but not many of us have in excess. By that, i meant humanity, in general. Part of wisdom is the ability to know when to do what, when to say what, and basically, when to act for any given situation. Sometimes wisdom fails oneself in a tight mess, other times it pulls your ass out of a hellfire outright.

For me, wisdom, is the glue for relationships. its the thing that keeps things together, and it is something the club's cupboard and wall was dying to need. It keeps one from unconsciously hurting another, another from misunderstanding, and yet another from retaliating. By then, it is down to the 8 nails at the rim of the woodwork that can save both the cupboard and the wall, and from the incident of a close shave from the gleaming scythe of the reaper we can all tell just how precarious that is.

As of right now, wisdom tells me, that friendships, be it the good times, bad times or any time at all, should and will not be broken by gravity alone. Let us all nail back the frames, and this time, secure the whole area with a good, high quality glue. But remember, besides wisdom, there are many other factors that make a good adhesive. But for the time being, i can safely say that wisdom is the main key to the recovery of our good ol overhead not-so-safe cupboard on the same piece of the club wall.

And right now, wisdom also says, that i should leave it at that. In case any of you is wondering, yes, im talking to glue. You got a problem with that?

No more posts on this issue anymore, I will be removing all of this saga into the drafts. Not deleting it, just to remind everyone what happened and not making the same mistakes.

Prolly we as C152 could sit down together for a nice talk to really talk and iron things out, I am not really a fan of discord too so I will attempt to fix this.

The falling cupboard and the new term

Extracted my from blog to not repeat myself tooo many times....

At the “second home”, the wall mounted cupboard popped. By pop, I mean the top corner visible to me. Right at the top…

“nooo goood. gg. Oh my its gonna fall apart. Gone liaos. Damage incoming.” Panic. I mean REALLY panic. Messaged Boss immediately to get help. Our friendly TP lab tech James happened to be around so I asked for his help. Getting him to hold the entire cupboard while I try to save some stuff from in there.

After a few boxes were removed I suggested to remove the glass panels. So I asked him to lift it up a little…

Everything fell on me. Sooooo dead. Was sooo saved by him. Only got a knock on my shoulder, managed to escape before he let go. Its BLOODY heavy. If he did not hold it… Well C152 might not miss me? Maybe. Haha.

Hey guys, good afternoon. Just woke up and feeling abit drowsy. Well, who doesn't, if they have been talking to a pretty Japanese girl all night in O2Jam? But damn, why doesn't she have an MSN account? Oh why, oh why? She's 17, currently studying in MI (Millenia Institute, for you noobs who don't know), and she's gonna be taking her exams soon, so I visited her friendster and wished her good luck. =)

I woke up today, fresh from yesterday's heavenly fight online, just to face Gin Yan on MSN. This is the interesting subject: I just had another conversation similar to the one I had with You-Know-What. But this rocks, I think. We talked about the existence of EA. I saved the convo, and I (along with Gin Yan, if he wants) will show it to you all tomorrow, and make sure I hear your comments loud and clear (Gin Yan wants to hear them himself too).

To Zech, yeah you're not alone. Maddy here hasn't even start his DSAG yet, thanks to his impregnable skull that disallows any form of programming information to enter. His CMSK destroyed his lanjiao so he won't be able to make amendments so soon. GADS is going great, thanks to imba leader Shawn and inpromptu king Delvin (I'm just scared my part isn't that great).

Yeah, that's it from Madster today, gotta go do my part for GADS, and hope all goes well tomorrow (damn, we're the last group, so nua then have to present, sigh). Jane.

Guess what Sam. I'm not scared of pressing the 'End Test' button, just embarrased that if I press while there are people beside me an I failed, it would probably destroy any drop of ego I have left. I, too, waited for 30 mins for the people on both my sides to disappear before I press the button. Once they are gone, I pressed the button. Wishing for a 'Pass' that would appear, instead, a 'Fail' flashed in front of my eye, blinding my mind.
Oooh I failed, I said. What now? Shaking whilst standing to make my way out of the room, I forced a fake smile at the invigilator. The CCTV might have captured the moment when my screen of 'Fail' appears, and those behind the cameras would be laughing their sweet asses off at the noob of the day. I can swear that everyone else had passed, for their faces show likewise.
It was a sad, sad day. It still is. The pain is like taking in three 12-inch dudes into a tight virgin. Close your eyes, it's not that hard to imagine... (unless your dude's hard, that is)

Morning headaches are so damn irritating. its got this mild pulsing in your head that doesnt really hurt, but makes you feel so sluggish and stuck up you wish it would either get the fuck out of your head or actually start hurting.

So, like i told wes, i enjoyed myself at CGO. not that there were hot chicks clad in revealing outfits or porn lying around(well, there were some, but hey, they call em 'mature art'. Pfft, whatever.), but rather, it was the speakers and what they had to say. Truly, the games industry is not an easy place to work in. You could slaughter a thousand men and offer it up to the ancient mayan gods of ultimate evil and still not get a job in this industry if you can't either do ground-breaking cg art/concept art, godlike programming, hyper-zai modelling/rigging/animation or have the writing skills of god on a 6 day non-stop inspirational story writing marathon run. So ppl, train up while you still can. It aint gonna be easy if you want a slice of the gaming cake.

As for me, i'll keep doing what i do best. I mean, what else can i do? programing? HAH! i'd be kissing Feng Zhu's ass if i could program half as good as a rotting squirrel in a deep 10 year coma.

So, i really recommend you guys to go for next year's CG overdrive. Sure, they talking alot more about concept art, modeling, rigging, and animation, but many of them is about the games industry and how it works, so go for it guys. Hell, if its good enough, we could ask the school to pay for our trip. Yeah that'd be nice. So, if theres anything you guys wanna know bout CGO 2007, feel free to ask me anything. I'll see what my half-baked brain cells can do.

You see, i never wanted to ever touch blogging. Hell, i would eat the KFC original fried chicken than write a blog. Why get started then? Yo. Gongz. How're things over in MIT? First week over, halfway into the second week already. POST LEH. Update us, etc. Sian man, this whole blog only 2 posts by Jem and counting this, 3 total.

Jem said we miss ah gong. Well, most of the time we DON'T. hahaha. But whenever I walk past a kopitiam with "kokz", I feel sian, 'cause drinkin' without the gongz would feel weird. Heck, eating prata and drinking teh tarik even feels weird when I think gongz is half the world away. Sian man. Speaking of which, what do you eat there? Chinese takeaway? ha. Now, wanna eat prata/drink teh tarik also must call fats and kok, bear is perpetually cannot go out, kok sometimes can, and fats wanna ask him out is like dragging a bloody dinosaur out of the ice age, or a dragon out of his cave. One day I'll write a game and sacrifice a "fattie" to Jormungard (that dragon the GM in FFO talks about?)
