As Dated.

Guys, you've all heard me ranting about block teaching, and on those occassions, you have all made noise with me! Now is the time that I ask for a little cooperation. I will be writing up a report soon regarding the state of the class, as well as our opinions WITH SUPPORTING EVIDENCE (1) , and boss has agreed that if such a report is written it is possible for him to pass it along to the higher ups, just so they know what is happening down here, aside from statistics and such. I will have said report vetted(sp?) by either boss or any other lecturer who is 1. Free and/or 2. Sympathetic to our predicament.

I appeal to all of you to provide as much information/opinions as possible (2), anything you can recall even from last semester and so. Although its a "lost cause" to think of block teaching being abolished, at least we can try to make the remainder of it bearable for ourselves, as well as for the future poor sods (3).

(1). I cannot emphasize this enough. Evidence = all. (if you can't think of any, just put the opinion forward anyways, and we'll brainstorm in the lab or somesuch. At most we just evict some suckers for "club business" >=D )
(2). Subject to politcal correctness, it will either be rephrased if contents are valid, or left out if they are downright off topic =).
(3). Not that we like them very much, but well, might as well do something good now in the christmas season, and store up some credits to purchase our one way ticket to paradise somewhere, sometime, eh?

p.s. all the crap that you manage to churn out will be greatly appreciated and analyzed at length, and I welcome anyone who is willing to help compile the information. Try to put the information in an email, .txt, .doc, or whatever will do. Just so long as it somehow gets to me.

p.s. of the p.s. if in the event that anyone from other courses are interested in contributing to our efforts, they are welcome to as well. However, for now, try not to actively publicize this fact overmuch to them. We'll drain what resources we have first, before looking for more.
