EOY Anime @ Expo 07 (for those lazy to visit my dead blog)

Today I went to the cosplaying event at Singapore Expo, the EOY Anime @ Expo 2007, which brings together anime lovers and cosplayers alike for one gigantic event that attracts many anime lovers, especially those otakus. For a freaking $12, I can enter and take pictures of/with (mostly) anime cosplayers. Zech, Kok and Shawn were there with their booth, selling anime stickers. For more information, please call either Zech at 94886848 or Shawn at 91789132. They'll be happy to serve you. The founder, Nick, is away serving the nation. Let's wish him the best of platoons. Amin. Amen. Itadakimasu (can't find the right closing statement).

Anyway, back to topic. I set off after Pokemon at 1130 hours, and reached Expo at around 1200+ hours, searched for their booth, and finally found it at the furthest end of the event site. I decided to stick around until the end of the event and help them (to clear trash, that is). So anyway, here are the pictures from the events. Sorry about the quality, but this is all I can do with my current lousy phone. As they say, pictures can speak a thousand words, or whatever.

Alright guys that's all I have for today. Visit sticker-no-tenchi.blogspot.com to support Nick and his sticker paradise. Those under him includes the IntimidatingMagicBear and the FakeNoobFace. If our course goes haywire, let's all work under Nick and make his dream come true. Let's all show the power of C152 when we're one. I'm just kidding, let's get on with life. Yet again, to Nick, all the best of platoons. Nites all. Jane.

As Dated.

Guys, you've all heard me ranting about block teaching, and on those occassions, you have all made noise with me! Now is the time that I ask for a little cooperation. I will be writing up a report soon regarding the state of the class, as well as our opinions WITH SUPPORTING EVIDENCE (1) , and boss has agreed that if such a report is written it is possible for him to pass it along to the higher ups, just so they know what is happening down here, aside from statistics and such. I will have said report vetted(sp?) by either boss or any other lecturer who is 1. Free and/or 2. Sympathetic to our predicament.

I appeal to all of you to provide as much information/opinions as possible (2), anything you can recall even from last semester and so. Although its a "lost cause" to think of block teaching being abolished, at least we can try to make the remainder of it bearable for ourselves, as well as for the future poor sods (3).

(1). I cannot emphasize this enough. Evidence = all. (if you can't think of any, just put the opinion forward anyways, and we'll brainstorm in the lab or somesuch. At most we just evict some suckers for "club business" >=D )
(2). Subject to politcal correctness, it will either be rephrased if contents are valid, or left out if they are downright off topic =).
(3). Not that we like them very much, but well, might as well do something good now in the christmas season, and store up some credits to purchase our one way ticket to paradise somewhere, sometime, eh?

p.s. all the crap that you manage to churn out will be greatly appreciated and analyzed at length, and I welcome anyone who is willing to help compile the information. Try to put the information in an email, .txt, .doc, or whatever will do. Just so long as it somehow gets to me.

p.s. of the p.s. if in the event that anyone from other courses are interested in contributing to our efforts, they are welcome to as well. However, for now, try not to actively publicize this fact overmuch to them. We'll drain what resources we have first, before looking for more.
